Privacy Policy, in plain words, for Tampa, FL homeowners.

This policy says what Maplex Services LLC collects when you use maplexservices.com. It says why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us about it. It is written to be read, not skimmed. Next to each part there is a short note that says what it means for you. If a line here is not clear, call us.

No cookies, no pixels, no selling your data.

When you ask for an estimate, we collect what you type. Your name, your phone number, and your city or ZIP code. The service you are asking about, and your description of the work. Name and phone are required. Everything else is optional.

We also keep three things about the form itself. The page you sent it from. The exact consent wording shown above the submit button. And the time you sent it. That way there is a record of what you agreed to, not just what the site says today.

If you call or text us, our phone system keeps the call log and the messages. Any business phone does the same. This site does not ask for your email address. If you email us, we keep the email.

You can send the form with a name and a phone number and nothing else. We will still call you back.

We keep a copy of the exact words you agreed to. If the site changes later, your record does not.

Our host, Cloudflare, sees your IP address while it delivers each page and blocks automated abuse. We do not store your IP address and we do not build a profile from it.

We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies. It stores no IP address and no identifier of any kind. It tells us how many people saw a page, what country they were in, and how fast the page loaded. It cannot tell us who you are.

We do not use advertising pixels, remarketing tags, session recording, or any tracker from a social network. Nothing follows you after you leave this site.

One thing on this site comes from someone else, and we name it. The home page, the About page and our city pages show a Google map of where we work. That map is Google Maps. It loads only when you scroll down to it. When it loads, Google may set its own cookies and collect data. That happens under Google’s Privacy Policy, which this policy incorporates by reference. By using the map you agree to Google’s Terms of Service. If you never scroll to the map, nothing from Google loads.

No cookie banner, because there is no cookie of ours to accept. The visit counter cannot tell one person from another.

The only outside thing is the Google map. It loads when you scroll to it, and Google plays by its own rules there.

We collect it to answer your request, to schedule the walkthrough, and to do the job if you hire us. Nothing else. We do not sell your information. We do not rent it. We do not share it for anyone’s advertising, and we will not start without asking you first.

The trades who do the work

If you hire us, the trade assigned to each part of your job gets what it needs for that part. That is your name, address, phone and the scope. Nothing more, and only for work you have agreed to.

The companies that run our tools

This site, and the database that stores what you send through the form, run on Cloudflare. Our business phone and texting run through Quo. When a form comes in, a copy is sent to us through Telegram so a person sees it right away. Each of these handles your information only to provide its service to us, under its own privacy terms.

The law

We will disclose information if a court or a law requires it.

Nobody else

There are no data brokers, no lead resellers and no marketing partners.

Your information goes to three places: us, the trade doing your job, and the tools that carry the message. That is the whole list.

Nobody buys your name from us. Nobody ever will without asking you first.

When you send the form, you agree that we may contact you about your request. That can be by phone, text message or email. That consent is not a condition of buying anything. Message and data rates may apply.

We text about your request only, from our business number, and only between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. Tampa time.

You can stop at any time. Reply STOP to any text, tell us on the phone, or write to [email protected]. We honor a request to stop no matter how it reaches us, within ten business days, and usually the same day.

One word, STOP, ends the texts. A phone call or an email works the same. You do not have to explain why.

We do not text at night, and we do not text about anything but your request.

If we do not end up working together after an estimate, we delete your information within 24 months.

If we work together, we keep the job record for 7 years after the work is done. Florida allows up to seven years to bring a construction claim. We keep the paperwork while that window is open.

Call logs and texts stay in our phone system for as long as we use it. They are deleted when you ask.

Ask for an estimate and walk away, and your record is gone within two years. Hire us, and the job file stays seven years, for your protection as much as ours.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you. You can ask us to fix it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you. Write to [email protected] or call (813) 819-6778. We answer within ten business days. We will not treat you differently for asking.

We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising. So there is nothing to opt out of on that front. A browser signal such as Global Privacy Control changes nothing, because there is nothing to turn off.

If something goes wrong

We keep what we collect small, so there is little to lose. If a security breach ever exposes your information, we will tell you as Florida law requires, without delay.

Children

This site is for homeowners and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child gave us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If the change matters, we say so on this page, in plain words, for at least 30 days.
